A Personal Journey and Mission

In this space between the winter solstice and the dawn of the New Year—a time of transition and reflection, I want to share a deeply personal update about my journey and the work I feel called to do in the world.

This week, my partner of the past seven years, Canay Atalay, announced that we are parting ways. She will continue leading RegenerateX, including its initiatives such as Heart Masters and RX on Board. You can read her heartfelt announcement here: Breaking the Silence: A Comeback Fueled by Love. I decided to dedicate myself fully to guiding men back to the essence of life’s intelligence through Unconditional Men.

Seven years ago, I announced a significant shift in my professional work, which you can revisit here: Human Works Design: Building Meaningful Futures. At that time, I could sense the verge of another new influential era in our evolution of humanity and consciousness. This vision materialised through projects such as Human Works, Conscious Learning Tribe (during COVID), RegenerateX, and Unconditional Men.

Today, I carry this mission forward with renewed clarity and focus.

My Worldview

The work I do stems from a deep understanding of the challenges we face as individuals and as a collective about the state of the world - global heating, rising inequality and increase in global conflict.

I observe a growing shift in business and politics away from the values of community, with diminishing emphasis on integrity and truth. Instead, there is an overwhelming fixation on profit, short-term gains, and a troubling disregard for the fragility of our future.

My work lies in the ‘active hope’ that changes minds about how to act, manage and consider the future, how to value others, value nature and realise that we are all in this together.

Here are the guiding principles of my worldview:

• Systems Change Starts from Within: Transforming the larger systems we live in begins with personal transformation. By addressing our own inner imbalances and unresolved wounds, we create the foundation for meaningful, systemic change.

• Navigating Complexity and Chaos: In these turbulent times, it is essential to develop the tools and resilience to navigate complexity and chaos. My work helps leaders find clarity and purpose amidst uncertainty, enabling them to act with integrity and wisdom.

• Unresolved Trauma: So much of what we experience in the world today stems from unresolved trauma—whether personal, relational, collective, or intergenerational.

• The Shadow of Neglect: Failing to address these wounds has cast a long shadow over our lives, affecting relationships, work, politics, and our planet.

• Masculine and Feminine Energies: We all embody both feminine and masculine energies, yet these energies are often out of balance, leading to inner and outer struggles.

• Healing the Shadows: I focus my work on helping men heal these internal shadows, fostering balance and integration so we can collectively build a joyful, peaceful, inclusive, and respectful world.

• Inclusivity: While my focus is on male leaders, we also collaborate with women and other gender identities and facilitate mixed circles and programs to improve communication and foster mutual understanding. This inclusive approach strengthens relationships and helps create a more balanced world.

Why Male Leaders?

My work centres on the transformation of male leaders because I believe they hold a unique potential to influence change. By guiding men back to their essence, I aim to:

• Help them lead with courage, wisdom, and compassion.

• Foster harmonious relationships and co-create balanced, inclusive systems.

• Inspire a new paradigm of leadership rooted in respect for people and the planet.

The Road Ahead

Unconditional Men is more than a program; it is a mission. Through retreats, workshops, and online programs, I will continue exploring how we can grow together and create a world our children and grandchildren will want to live in.

This mission is grounded in a positive and inspiring vision for the future—and actionable steps to co-create a more beautiful world our hearts know is possible.
